Scrolling through pictures this morning of our home and some of the remodeling that we have done. I am anxiously awaiting the full kitchen remodel, which should happen this summer. As much as I love this pantry, it will be going away during the remodel. After much discussion I think we have decided to remove the laundry room door (swipe to see) and do an L shaped kitchen. The laundry room will be moved into the master bathroom. The walk in pantry will be opened back up and white shaker style cabinets will be installed. I have it all planned out in my head and on paper. Once it is finished, you will never know that the kitchen could belong inside a double wide mobile home. That’s part of the challenge that I love about where we live. Making over the stigma that comes with living inside one of these homes is a challenge that I hope to conquer.

I love the taste of sourdough, and if you caught my stories today then you know my children love it just as much! I recently shared all the videos on YouTube of how to make a sourdough starter and now the first recipe is on the blog! Head over to see how you can make the most delicious, fluffy sourdough pancakes! Link in profile!

I am not 100% better but I managed to get out and take a walk with this crew. I needed fresh air and they needed physical education time.

Pretty sure I have been double hit with a sinus infection and a touch of the flu. And, I am losing my voice today. However, the sun is shining and I am going to make the most of this day. Sipping chicken broth, taking Elderberry syrup every 4 hours and praying this passes quickly. I hope you all are well!

Need a little winter time cheer? Just head to your local greenhouse where all the beautiful things are! I picked up a Rosemary plant and my hope is to successfully train it into a topiary. Anyone else had success doing this?

Our barn loft is huge and I have lot of ideas on what we can do with this space once we get it fixed up. However, I am quite sure one of these corners will be mine to turn into my own unique work space. The light and the shadows are quite spectacular and oh the possibilities that I have thought up!

Spent a little time caring for my topiary this morning. I pulled it from the pot and realized that the roots were really bound, so I broke and loosened them. Then, I put into a bigger clay pot. Here is hoping that the topiary continues to thrive and grow.
It might be to cold to garden outside but I can get a bit of the gardening fix inside.

Whew! What a day! Nothing like traveling somewhere for fours, being there for three hours and then traveling back for four. But, I was with my hubby the whole time and that makes it worth it. Hope your day was amazing!

This pretty much sums up our icy cold day. Mattresses, pillows, and blankets piled on the floor. But, don’t let this photo fool you because she nor her brother have been this calm all day. They have rollerbladed in the house, rode on the skateboard and used a wooden stool to jump in the air onto the mattresses.
The house is a disaster but they are making memories and most of all they are having fun!

Early morning rise, sipping coffee, published a new blog post, woke up children, ate breakfast and doing chores. Tackling this day head on and hoping it’s as productive all the day long! What are you doing today?
