Homemade | From Scratch Ranch Dressing
I probably eat more ranch dressing than anyone else in our home, especially in the warmer months of summer. I like having a large bowl in the fridge, and lots of fresh cut up vegetables to dip in the ranch. It’s the one sure way that I will consume a lot of vegetables.
This recipes is a staple in our fridge. It takes very little time to make, and I like knowing that all the ingredients I put in this recipe are healthy and delicious. Now, I think that this recipe could easily be adapted to your taste. Like a more garlic flavor in yours, then add a little more garlic. Want a little more sweet taste, add a little extra sweetener of your choice. It’s very versatile, but I believe it’s pretty perfect just the way it is!

How to Make Ranch Dressing
To make this recipe, start with a medium size white bowl. Add the heavy cream, sour cream, mayonnaise and apple cider vinegar. Set aside for 10 minutes. Cut and dice green onions, and then add to the mixture. Add spices and herbs, mix well. Add sweetener and then mix well. Place in refrigerator at least 30 minutes before serving.
I don’t always have the patience to put it in the fridge for 30 minutes before I serve this delicious homemade ranch! It does give the flavors time to marinate all together, but it tastes good straight from the bowl as soon as I make it.
How Long Does Homemade Ranch Dressing Last?
I have never had this recipe last more than one week but since it has no preservatives, I would say it should be good for at least two weeks. You can always check the expiration dates on your heavy whipping cream and sour cream to get a good idea how long the ranch dressing recipe will last. But again, it never lasts that long in our home.
