Our double wide mobile home has seen several changes to the front of the home in the five years that we have lived here. I am quite sure it will be getting a large front porch in the near future but for this season I used what I had, what I found, and a few new annual plants to create a welcoming Spring feel.
I have never hidden that we live in a double wide mobile home. It’s part of our life story that I am more than happy to share about. I believe that everyone should make the most of whatever home that they live in, and I am on a mission to make the interior of our home look like the farmhouse simple style that I love.
We recently put hardwood floors in our manufactured home and after doing so, I never felt like the color flowed well with the rest of our home. Remodeling a manufactured home kitchen to add a walk-in pantry with a sliding barn door.
I am one who loves the hunt for unique pieces in our home. Lighting is no different and if I can find a great bargain then I really get excited. I recently took two different lighting pieces from two different stores, and combined them to get one great farmhouse style light for above our kitchen island.
Driving past our home before we owned it was quite a place to behold and it wasn't because it had curb appeal. Our yard resembled more of a junk yard on a small scale and so when we purchased the property we had a lot of work to do on not just the interior but the exterior as well. See how our yard has transformed around our manufactured home.
